When i started out, the smart recipes weren't there. The smart recipes are actually good. Since at the beginning you don't have that many varieties, try to make as many ESPRESSOS as you can. It cost 0 coins and its only 15 seconds to make. Try to get at least 3 baristas. Also when making recipes, consider the amount and the total price you will get from selling it and the time it takes to make it. Once you have a decent amount of money, try to earn recipe stars to unlock other recipes. The best recipes to make with cost to amount/earning ratio are , Espressos and Pineapple Juice.

I would also suggest after making money to buy ovens instead of beverage machines. Blender recipes are expensive and are limited in terms of the time it makes the recipe (max hours is 3 or 4 hours i believe) but offers high exp (max is 3 per plate but 4-5 on the book that can be unlocked for 50 cocos). Blenders are fast when it comes to making money but the product also depletes fast because of the small quantity of plates each time you make a recipe.
When you start with ovens, you make less money at first and the quantity does deplete fast in the beginning. Nevertheless if you make a bargain by unlocking the rest of the recipe books (bakery & cakes) you can unlock more recipes such as the tiramisu or pancakes. You'll be able to make recipes that are cheaper, longer (3-4-6-9-12 hours max) and the quantity is sufficient enough that the product does not deplete as fast as you would with blenders.

yeah now im turning 51 in just a matter of two days. try to invest on unlocking the waikiki beach because the recipes are indeed expensive but it will give you a fortune and will help you with your main street cafe.

lol maybe. haha i do play a lot. i wish they allow more baristas. 8 isnt enough all i can tell you is if you do play a lot take the time to make the 1st smart recipes while they are gone. i think thats apple juice. one batch is 400 coins. if you have 8 baristas, you make 3,200 coins. but the thing is its every 30 seconds. if you double it, thats approximately 6,400 coins per minute! hmmm theres 60 minutes in an hour so 6,400 x 60 = 384,000 coins!!! per hour. thats if you have the time and patience of course if you dont have 8 baristas and you might have 4 or 5 thats about 192,000 coins. take those things into consideration when making recipes.

in my case dont have that much time. so instead i make a lot of pineapple juices which you can make every 2 hours. one batch cost 7k but in return you make 18k, more than double the cost! if you have 8 baristas, you would have 144k. i have my waikiki beach as well. although it depletes fast, i use my ovens as a decoy.

Hi everyone! Total newbie with a silly question: how do I buy an oven? The tutorial locked up on me and when I logged back in the tutorial was gone. Help!

Update: figured it out, yeah! You have to go into the character menu & buy an oven for your barista.
